Day 3
Its difficult to do this 365 Project! and I still have 362 days to go...but it makes me think every moment and keeps me on my toes to look out for something different. I look forward to coming home and blogging about it.
Day 4
The idea of a 365 Project seemed very appealing to me. As I talked about this project to a few close ones, they also thought that it would be an interesting thing to do. As I jumped in and started clicking, I realized that I wanted my pictures to convey something related to me -a certain feeling that I had, a certain view that I admired, a certain memory that came back out of nowhere. There were so many things that you could take a picture of and that is when it occurred to me that the project sounded simple but in reality was a tad bit more complicated. I had too many options to choose from. Yes, I am a novice at this and I realized that quick enough.
While reading through some tips on 365Project.org, I came across one that mentioned about picking a theme and sticking to that. I think I am going to go with that may be on a weekly or monthly basis. Plus with the outdoors being below freezing and it getting dark by the time I leave work, taking one picture everyday would be slightly difficult....unless I look around at work.
I am a scientist who works with "fun stuff". So for the next week I am going to look around in lab and look for patterns in anything that is there in the lab- let us see how that goes!
Day 5
I was at work today but left earlier than usual only to be welcomed by the beautiful "just before sunset" sun. The valley has an inversion but the mountains were clean and crisp. I got a few nice shots of the mountains and the sunset but the picture of my shadow touched my heart more than anything else and hence even though this was not the most picturesque picture it made it to the blog.
